Update in Progress- Gertrude passed away on June 18,2022 at home with Mike and Faith. A celebration of Life open house was held there on June 25.
She will be cremated and interred with her first husband Carlyle Howells in Twin Falls Idaho July 23, 2022.
Completed - 100th birthday (Nov 8th) celebration for Gertrude. Held in Castle Rock at Pegasus Restaurant Sunday November 7th at 4:00pm. Working on posting photos from the evet.
Trip Over - (still processing photos) for 2-night backpack trip to Diamond Lake in Indian Peaks Wilderness area
James, Kimbra and family drove up from Texas for the Holiday. While they were here, we managed to get all the family in Colorado together for the 4th at Jerry and Lynette's new place.
On return to Rod & Cindy's, we needed a day of rest and then a day to prepare for an (Early) 100th Birthday celebration for Gertrude. Photos to be supplied... (in work). After a day of rest and cleanup we returned home to Colorado.

Faith, Gertrude and I traveled to Gooding Idaho. The first part of the trip was spent at Rod & Cindy's. We had to direct Movers to the storage unit for Rene's stuff from New Mexico (she is changing jobs and will be working in Meridian near Boise). Then we had to get ready for a 4 day trip to the mountains at Clayton Idaho (that part of the trip is summarized in another entry.
